Solar Collector was very the first release by The Myrrors after reforming in 2013, originally issued as a self-released three-track cassette culled from the band's rehearsal space improvisations. A highly limited screen-printed vinyl reissue by Cardinal Fuzz eventually added on a bonus track, Escape Attempt, from around the same time. This new reissue (the original plates have since been destroyed, so a straight ahead repress was out of the question) features a standard reverse-board color sleeve and remastered sound from Chris Hardman of Dead Sea Apes. This is the band at its most stripped-down and relaxed, just at the point of finding its feet again and in the middle of working on the tracks that would eventually become 2015's Beyond Beyond is Beyond album Arena Negra.
